<image:title>Treatment Details - Laser Therapy</image:title>
<image:caption>Laser therapy is a gentle and non-invasive treatment which stimulates the cells to encourage tissue healing, reduce inflammation and decrease pain. It is often used to reduce pain in arthritic joints, encourage healing post-injury or post-surgery, and reduce muscle tension.</image:caption>

<image:title>Treatment Details - Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF)</image:title>
<image:caption>PEMF generates a small electric field similar to the body’s natural electric field, which stimulates the cell membrane to improve healing & reduce pain. It is best used to reduce arthritic pain, encourage nerve healing and bone healing.</image:caption>

<image:title>Treatment Details - Electrical Stimulation (TENS / NMES)</image:title>
<image:caption>Transcutaneous Electrical Stimulation (TENS) is used to reduce pain, and works by stimulating the body’s natural pain relieving system. Neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) is used to stimulate nerves & muscles, and is often used in cases of severe muscle wastage.</image:caption>

<image:title>Canine Physiotherapy - Assessment</image:title>
<image:caption>An introductory chat allows time for your pet to get to know me, while we discuss your pets history and any concerns you may have. I will begin with a dynamic assessment in which I will ask you to walk & trot your pet while I assess their gait, and may include other movements such as circles, sit-to-stand or stair use. I will then assess your pet statically, and carry out palpation of soft and hard tissues, joint range of motion and any appropriate orthopaedic or neurological tests.</image:caption>

<image:title>Canine Physiotherapy - Treatment</image:title>
<image:caption>Based on my findings, I will carry out the most appropriate treatment for your pet during that session. Further details about treatments can be found here. After treatment, we will identify short and long term goals for your pet, and discuss the plan going forward. We will discuss any lifestyle adaptations, as well as go through massage, stretches and exercises to be carried out at home between sessions.</image:caption>
